Bespoke timber staircases

We design and build made-to-measure staircases for new builds, renovations and refurbishment projects. Each staircase is designed to suit the layout, proportions and character of the building.

Work ranges from straightforward straight flights through to more complex arrangements, including winders, turns and landings. Designs are developed to balance practicality, appearance and compliance with current requirements.

Construction typically starts with rough sawn solid timber for the whole staircase or, if desired, a combination of solid timber and high-quality veneers, depending on the design, finish and budget. Materials and detailing are chosen to complement the surrounding interior and other joinery elements.

Staircase enquiries are usually priced from drawings, sketches or approximate site dimensions provided by the architect, builder or client. This allows us to give an accurate quotation without the need for detailed setting-out at an early stage. Final dimensions are confirmed later in the process once the project is ready to move forward.
